BRISTOL TOWN HOUSE

This garden is in its first year, having been completed in December 2025. The design creates a stylish yet practical family garden, with a generous brick terrace providing plenty of space for entertaining.

A central lawn provides an open space for the young children to play, while generous planting softens the boundaries and brings seasonal interest to the garden. Hydrangea quercifolia was chosen to create a connection with the magnificent mature oak tree just beyond the boundary, while more delicate, tall-stemmed perennials rise through the borders, bringing height, movement and a lightness to the planting.

A gravel path leads through the garden to the art studio at the rear, providing a practical, all-weather route while sitting naturally within the planting, with plants such as Centranthus ruber and Erigeron karvinskianus beginning to colonise the path edges and soften the boundary fence.
