HENRY MILLS

Henry Mills is a landscape and garden designer with a long standing background in horticulture and a particular interest in planting and timeless design. His work is led by the character of a place, creating gardens that feel calm, immersive and connected to their surroundings.

After spending seven years working hands-on in horticulture, from country estates to city courtyard gardens, Henry retrained at the London College of Garden Design and later worked for internationally renowned studio Arne Maynard Garden Design. There he contributed to high-end residential projects across the UK, Europe and the Americas, working closely on planting design.

Henry often collaborates with architects, interior designers and specialist makers to create gardens that feel fully connected to both the house and the surrounding landscape.

His approach combines practical horticultural knowledge with a sensitive design eye, creating gardens that not only look beautiful but grow and settle naturally into the landscape over time.

In 2023, Henry was recognised by Pro Landscaper magazine as one of the industry’s “30 Under 30”.
